Which principle do you live by?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bible describes something completely different. In Galatians 2:20 it says: \u201cI have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Isn\u2019t that condescension and being other-directed?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>God, the Father in heaven. has the best intentions for me. In Luke 11 verse 11, Jesus explains that he won\u2019t give us a snake when we ask him for bread. He has wonderful thoughts about each person, for he has not just created us arbitrarily. He will carry out his plan for this world at the right time.
