She actually hardly had any time for it. But she had set her mind to it: \u201cToday I want to make my own bread.\u201d In a hurry, she gathered the ingredients, made the dough\u2014and popped it in the oven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She was very disappointed when she later took a bite of the freshly baked bread. It tasted like \u201cnothing at all\u201d\u2014it was just bland. In her impatience, she hadn\u2019t focused properly and had forgotten the most important thing: the salt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We need patience. That is what the Bible teaches us. Impatience has destroyed many things. It is not only material possessions that can be ruined\u2014relationships also suffer because of impatience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So: Take your time. Be patient with yourself and those around you. Ask yourself: What\u2019s going on in my life\u2014today? Tomorrow? In a month? One thing is certain: To discover what God wants from you, you need patience and time.
