After Jesus was accused of incitement, treason, disruption of religious peace and blasphemy they had witnesses come forward who contradicted each other.
They couldn’t accuse him of anything!
All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.
John 6:37
Jesus was still nailed to the cross because the leading judge Pontius Pilate felt pressure by the religious plaintiffs. What has happened?
The 30-year-old carpenter preached for three years. He conducted miracles of healing and fed people which cemented the words of John the Baptist. Many recognized that only the Messiah could do such things. This infuriated the normally esteemed religious leaders. An “uneducated” man whom they could never measure up to. Nevertheless, they continually tried to embarrass him publicly. Now that was it. They finally called him to account. They were so wrong, because Jesus rose on the third day!
Is it possible to reject the Son of God without disqualifying yourself?
