Jesus is coming again
21. November. 21

“Mommy, how much longer till… ?” It is difficult to tell a child without a sense for distance to understand how long a ride is still taking. It’s similar when it comes to the question when Jesus will come again. He promised to come back one day. In the gospel, we find hints which make us sense that the day isn’t far away: wars, epidemics, natural catastrophes, prosecution of Christians, …

It isn’t critical to know when Jesus comes. It is more important to live in an expecting relationship with him. That we are close, I am more certain every day. The time in which people from all nations are invited to participate in God’s salvation plan is running out. The current events can create fear. But Jesus encourages: Be assured, your salvation is close!

Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Acts 1:11

Those who rely on Jesus’ gift won’t be disappointed. That’s for sure!
