While Mary and Joseph were still making wedding preparations, she surprised him with unexpected news – she, a virgin, was pregnant. Joseph thought she had been unfaithful and wanted to separate from her.

But an angel appeared to him in a dream and said, ‘Do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, for the child she carries is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you shall name him Jesus.’

Matthew 1:20

This miracle fulfilled hundreds of prophecies about the Messiah. Even before the creation of the world, it was God’s plan to save humanity.
Isn’t it amazing how God’s plan encompasses everything – from the birth of Jesus to your own life? Just as Mary and Joseph were part of a greater story, you too are wanted right here and now. You did not choose the time and place of your birth, but God deliberately placed you in this time and place.
You are part of a story that has been told since the beginning of time. Your life has meaning because God has a plan for you – a plan that connects you to His great story.
