It was just before noon when some people came into our office. They had traveled for a good hour, and I knew them only casually. After I gave them the necessary information, I wondered where they might be eating. – It was cold outside, and the thought occurred to me to invite them to lunch. I went into the next room for a moment and called my wife, whom I told about my plan. – Delighted by her positive response, I invited the people to lunch.
Don’t forget to welcome outsiders. By doing that, some people have welcomed angels without knowing it.
Hebrews 13,2
A very lively discussion broke out around the large lunch table. The hungry mouths were fed, the questions were answered, and the bonds were strengthened. My wife beamed with satisfaction at the thought of having fed a few hungry “angels.”
