Everything under control. Except your heart.
12. April. 26

In a small village lived a man who was known throughout the area for his wealth. One day, this man decided to buy a luxury car. He drove the car carefully home and parked it in the garage. He spent many hours admiring it. Despite having the car, he was not satisfied. He was constantly afraid that the car might get scratched or even stolen. His joy in the car diminished day by day as he was increasingly plagued by fear.

One day, while the man was working in his garden, he saw a group of birds flying happily about and settling in the trees. He watched as the birds spread their wings carefree, without a care in the world, and fed on the fruits and insects that nature provided them. The man reflected and recalled the words from the Bible that he had heard as a child:

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

Matthew 6.26

Those words struck a chord with him. He realized that he had devoted his life to the pursuit of wealth and security, rather than focusing on what truly mattered: trust and gratitude toward the One who provided for all his needs—Jesus. The birds had shown him only the first step, but Jesus Christ was the path that led him to true peace and a fulfilled life.

What treasures are you seeking in your life, and to what extent do you trust that God is walking with you and providing for you along the way?
