As I was trying to swerve around a rock on the narrow Alpine road, there was a huge bang. Our car was shaken violently.
Worried, I looked under the car to see if a brake line had snapped or if the oil pan had sprung a leak. Miraculously, only the floor panel was slightly damaged. It could have turned out very differently.
How many a rock has claimed precious lives.
Were we just lucky once again?
Every day, in prayer, I place our entire family in God’s hands and entrust them to His care. Our Creator knows how many hairs we have on our heads. That is why I can confidently entrust every detail of my life to Him.
And you can be sure that I am always with you, to the very end.
Matthew 28,20b
Salvation is a gift that no one can earn. God does not promise us a life without problems. Everyone who trusts in Him can be assured that He is always by my side, no matter where I am.
Isn’t that much more than just a stroke of luck?
