The Mirror of Your Heart
28. September. 25

Recently, I stood in front of a group of people, each with their own story. Those stories were full of challenges, joys, and hopes. Some radiated confidence, while others struggled with worries. It occurred to me that I have a choice: Do I focus the good that encourages me, or the difficulties?

Philippians 4:1-9 calls us to focus on what is true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and commendable. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, this attitude changes our hearts and the atmosphere around us. Our inner attitude acts like a mirror: it shapes how we see the world and what we give back to others.

Worries weigh a person down, but kind words lift them up again.

Proverbs 12:25

Do you know someone who is heavily burdened? An encouraging word, a smile, or a small gesture can work wonders, for the other person and for you.

The choice is yours. How will you decide? Jesus will help you.
