In 1927, Russian biologist Ilya Ivanovich Ivanov began an attempt to inseminate chimpanzees with human sperm and vice versa. The “experiment” failed miserably, but the myth was born. – Without regard for the creator’s copyright, people continue undeterred to “tinker” with our genetic material. This raises profound ethical questions. – Who has such a strong interest in conducting and financing such costly “experiments,” and why?
Why has “tinkering” with the original become socially acceptable? Are we still on this “kick” of trying to prove to the Creator—by “tinkering” with His inventions—that He doesn’t even exist? We want to create life ourselves and act as if we can. We want to be like God, just like the first humans! God knows that our deepest needs can truly be met only through His Holy Spirit. His Son, Jesus Christ, gave everything for us. Only through Him can we experience life in abundance.
Whoever has the Son of God has life. But whoever does not have the Son does not have life there either not his life
1 John 5:12
Why don’t we sincerely ask the One who knows the © and the entire concept of our existence?
