Everyone has 24 hours a day.

Reflect on this statement: It is not the time that counts, but our priorities.

This year we have 24 more hours on the 29th of February, but even with a leap year, the most common excuse will still be “I don’t have time”. Actually, we do have enough time, but we have to create space so we can use our time wisely. That includes learning how to say no and to prioritize what is truly important to us.

It is our priorities that matter, not hours. Last year in 2019, most people, on average, spent two and a half hours on social media each day. This just goes to show, if it’s important to you, you will make time for it.

The best priority you can make this year is to spend time with God. We want to challenge you to have a quiet time with God every day. Find a special place with your bible, pen, and a notebook. Search for his heart and let him search yours. This time will never be wasted.

“So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.”

Ephesians 5:15-16

How do you choose to spend the 24 hours you are given every day?
