“Ah, Felix is really annoying me! How can he just barge in here and tear off my painter’s covers? Yesterday, he even knocked over my ladder. Luckily, I wasn’t standing on it!” It absolutely infuriated me.. Suddenly, Felix is standing in the doorway and I feel caught as I am reminiscing.

Now whatever you want people to do to you, you do to them!

Matthew 7:12

People can be annoying. Perhaps others find you annoying, too. What would you rather experience? That they say bad things about you or be patient with you and your quirks? No one is perfect, and we are called to be merciful and gracious to one another.

So, if things get a bit heated when someone needs a bit more patience from you or gets on your nerves – pause, ask yourself: How would I like to be treated?
