Todos nós queremos pertencer a algum lugar. A uma família, a um grupo, a uma equipa ou a um povo. Sentir que pertencemos dá-nos identidade e segurança. Deus colocou este desejo dentro de nós.
Mas o pecado separou-nos de Deus. Jesus Cristo, o Salvador prometido, veio a este mundo para vencer essa separação e reconciliar-nos com Deus. Quem crê em Jesus e confia nele pode fazer parte da família de Deus e tornar-se seu filho (João 1,12).
Esta confiança dá-nos uma profunda certeza. Não porque sejamos melhores do que os outros, mas porque o próprio Deus atua em nós através do seu Espírito Santo.
É muito mais do que apenas um sentimento. Deus dá-nos esta certeza: Eu pertenço-lhe. Sou seu filho.
Em Cristo, recebemos uma identidade completamente nova. Como filhos de Deus, podemos deixar-nos guiar pelo Espírito Santo e saber: Deus aceita-nos. Pertencemos à sua família – para sempre.

O biólogo russo Ilja Ivanovich Ivanov começou, em 1927, a tentar inseminar chimpanzés com esperma humano e vice-versa. A «experiência» falhou redondamente, mas o mito nasceu. – Sem respeitar os direitos de autor do criador, as pessoas continuam a «mexer» imperturbavelmente no nosso património genético. Isso levanta questões éticas profundas. – Quem é que tem tanto interesse em realizar e financiar «experiências» tão caras, e porquê?
Porque é que «mexer» no original se tornou aceitável? Ainda estamos nessa «onda» de tentar provar ao Criador, ao «mexer» nas suas invenções, que Ele nem sequer existe? Queremos criar a vida por nós próprios e fingimos que somos capazes disso. Queremos ser como Deus, tal como os primeiros seres humanos! Deus sabe que as nossas necessidades mais profundas só são verdadeiramente satisfeitas pelo seu Espírito Santo. O seu Filho, Jesus Cristo, deu tudo por nós. Só através dele é que podemos experimentar a vida em abundância.

In a small village lived a man who was known throughout the area for his wealth. One day, this man decided to buy a luxury car. He carefully drove the car home and parked it in the garage. He spent many hours with the car, admiring it. Despite the car, he was not satisfied. He constantly feared that the car might be scratched or even stolen. His enjoyment of the car became less and less as he was plagued by fear more and more every day.
One day, while the man was working in his garden, he saw a group of birds flying around happily and perching in the trees. He watched as the birds carelessly spread their wings without a care in the world, feeding on the fruits and insects that nature offered them. The man thought and remembered the words from the Bible that he had heard as a child:
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
Matthew 6:26
These words struck him. He realized that he had dedicated his life to the pursuit of wealth and security instead of focusing on what was really important: trust and gratitude to the one who gave him all his needs. Jesus. The birds had only shown him the first step, but Jesus Christ was the way that led him to true peace and a fulfilled life.

Stell dir vor, du hättest einen Wunsch frei. Genau einen. Spannend, aber auch gar nicht so einfach. Wo würdest du anfangen? Und wie entscheidest du, welcher Wunsch wirklich zählt?
Vielleicht würdest du zuerst alles sammeln, was dir in den Sinn kommt. Wünsche, Träume, Ideen. Schritt für Schritt würdest du aussortieren, bis nur noch das bleibt, was dir wirklich wichtig ist. Aber führt dieser Weg tatsächlich zum besten Wunsch?
In der Bibel gibt es eine bemerkenswerte Geschichte. In 1. Könige 3, 1–15 bekommt König Salomo von Gott genau diese Möglichkeit: Er darf sich etwas wünschen. Salomo hat viel erlebt und von seinem Vater David gelernt. Und statt nach Macht, Erfolg oder Sicherheit zu fragen, bittet er um Weisheit. Um ein Herz, das unterscheiden kann, was gut und richtig ist.
Ein ungewöhnlicher Wunsch. Und vielleicht gerade deshalb ein so starker Gedanke. Was wäre, wenn Weisheit auch heute noch ein Schlüssel wäre, um gute Entscheidungen zu treffen – im Alltag, in Beziehungen und im Leben insgesamt?
«Als Salomo im Heiligtum übernachtete, erschien ihm der Herr im Traum und sagte zu ihm: Wünsche dir, was du willst; ich will es dir geben!»

Viele Jahrhunderte lang warteten die Israeliten auf das Kommen des Messias. Mit der Geburt Jesu hatte das Warten endlich ein Ende. Dieses Neugeborene war nicht nur der Messias, der Gottes Volk von seinen Sünden befreien würde, sondern Gott selbst.
Er, das Wort, wurde ein Mensch, ein wirklicher Mensch von Fleisch und Blut. Er lebte unter uns, und wir sahen seine Macht und Hoheit, die göttliche Hoheit, die ihm der Vater gegeben hat, ihm, seinem einzigen Sohn.
Johannes 1,14
Das Wunder der Geburt Jesu besteht darin, dass er ganz Gott und ganz Mensch war. Er kam aus der Herrlichkeit seines Vaters, nahm jedoch menschliche Gestalt an, um sein Leben für uns zu leben. Diese doppelte Natur Jesu ist entscheidend: Als Gott konnte er die unendliche Strafe für die Sünden der Menschheit tragen, und als Mensch konnte er das menschliche Leiden verstehen und mit uns teilen.
Gott sei Dank, dass er seinen Sohn auf die Erde geschickt hat! Durch diese einzigartige Verbindung von göttlicher und menschlicher Natur konnte Jesus uns den Weg zu Gott zeigen und unsere Beziehung zu ihm wiederherstellen.
