Ein Läufer vor dem Marathon: Er kann nur starten, wenn er trainiert hat. Lange. Ausdauernd. Hart. Er konzentriert sich auf sein Ziel. Dem Training wird vieles untergeordnet: Seine Familie, seine Freunde, sein Essen. Wichtig ist: fokussiert bleiben, wenigstens diesen einen Marathon – den möchte er schaffen.
Vom Start weg kennt er nur noch dieses eine Ziel: Ankommen! Egal wie. Das Training muss sich doch auszahlen! Unterwegs kommt die Schwäche. Er kann kaum mehr. Er schleppt sich zum nächsten Verpflegungsposten. Noch wenige Kilometer. Die Nahrung gibt neue Kraft. Das Ziel vor Augen, kämpft er sich durch. Geschafft!
Das Leben – ein Marathonlauf?
Hilfreich ist es: Dranbleiben – Das Ziel vor Augen halten. Die Gewissheit im Herzen haben: Gott trägt durch – auch durch schwierige Zeiten.
Every year millions of tourists take a trip to Paris to admire a large pile of “old iron”, the Eiffel Tower. This gigantic steel monster is the attraction of the city. Just as famous, is the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, the flagship of the world metropolis. Many people position themselves as originally as possible in order to take a photo with “old iron” in the background. “Old iron” is valuable.
The Bible is very respectful of old people. In many places it describes the beauty, power and dignity of old age. People who have succeed in living together constructively over generations, have an extremely important and formative function in our Society, even in their old age.
You should spend time with older people. Why don’t you make an original photo with them?!
They will declare, “The Lord is just! He is my rock! There is no evil in him!”
Millionen von Touristen pilgern jedes Jahr nach Paris, um einen grossen Haufen «altes Eisen» zu bestaunen, den Eiffelturm. Dieser gigantische Stahlkoloss ist die Attraktion der Stadt. Ebenso bekannt ist die Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, das Aushängeschild der Weltmetropole. Viele positionieren sich möglichst originell, um ein Foto mit «altem Eisen» im Hintergrund zu knipsen. «Altes Eisen» ist wertvoll.
Die Bibel geht sehr wertschätzend mit alten Menschen um. Sie beschreibt an vielen Stellen die Schönheit, Tragkraft und Würde des Alters. Menschen, denen es gelingt, auch im Alter noch konstruktiv über Generationen hinweg zusammenzuleben, haben zusätzlich eine überaus wichtige und prägende Funktion in unserer Gesellschaft.
Verbringen Sie Zeit mit älteren Menschen. Machen Sie zusammen ein originelles Foto und bringen Sie es vorbei!
Und wenn sie auch alt werden, werden sie dennoch blühen, fruchtbar und frisch sein.
Le strade che il Signore sceglie per arrivare alle Sue creature sono veramente innumerevoli.
Una di queste fu per me, mi chiamo Piero, la strada delle “onde radio” di Radio Montecarlo.
Negli anni ’68-’69, da Radio Montecarlo, attraverso brevi trasmissioni registrate, si parlava di Gesù, della Parola di Dio, del Suo piano di salvezza per l’uomo.
Da una posizione di cattolico, non occorse molto tempo al Signore per trasformare la mia realtà di fede in credente in Cristo attraverso la Sua Parola, che non conoscevo. Compilai diversi corsi biblici per corrispondenza, tra i quali uno gestito dalla Missione Svizzera per Dischi (ndr. MSD, Frutigen) da dove mi feci inviare una Bibbia, la prima.
Ho accettato il Signore al termine di uno di questi corsi.
Il Signore si è servito delle onde radio per arrivare a Volterra dove non era presente una realtà cristiana evangelica.
I dischi in vinile della MSD con messaggi e canti fanno sempre parte della mia biblioteca.
Posso dire che la mia conversione non è avvenuta tramite contatto diretto con altri credenti, solo successivamente ciò è avvenuto con missionari americani a Firenze e Pisa.
Da quel periodo è iniziato un lavoro lungo e non semplice, anche attraverso la realtà della famiglia.
Il lavoro di infermiere ha consentito, grazie al Signore, di vedere testimonianze anche in altre Nazioni dove ho lavorato per la Croce Rossa Italiana.
Il Signore mi ha insegnato a mantenere e coltivare i contatti che mi ha donato, anche molto lontani.
È un’esperienza che mi piace trasmettere, perché a noi non è dato sapere come il Signore opera là dove è stata diffusa la Sua Parola tanti anni fa.
A noi non compete di presumere quale sarà il risultato, bensì compete seminare ciò che Dio ci ha donato.
Tutto questo è accaduto tanti anni fa a Volterra e adesso il Signore ci offre la possibilità di condividere la gioia che ne deriva, con la comunità di Frutigen, di cui il Signore si è servito con un mezzo particolare quale la Radio e i dischi.
A Lui va il merito di tutto questo e il nostro grazie a Lui e a voi.

When God formed man, he laid principles in us too. To truly love others, it is important that we know that we are loved by God. Filled with His love, we can truly give ourselves to others. The relationship with God is a prerequisite and always comes first. The people around me will quickly notice whether my love is overflowing or superficial.
Through God’s Word and prayer, you will be filled again and again. How do you cultivate the exchange with your Creator?
