Johannes 1,11

In a friendly way, the mailman places my mail into my hand. One particular envelope really catches my eye. I check out who the sender is and, without second thought, tell him to take it back with him. “Acceptance Refused” is what he writes on it! Only years later did I find out that I had turned down a wonderful offer.
Thankfully, this is not the way that I’ve handled God’s love letter. Unfortunately, many “refuse” his offer, which determines the difference between life and death. Maybe the mail carrier is not likable, the “envelope color” isn’t “trendy” enough, or you’re simply in a bad mood. Some refuse the acceptance with full awareness because God is the sender, and, for whatever reason, they want nothing to do with him.
Please read God’s love letter (the Bible)! He wants to offer you eternal, abundant life. Would you like to find out more?
He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.

Einer will dem Anderen gefallen und ein Anderer macht nur das, was ihn im Moment glücklich macht. Nach welchem Prinzip lebst du? ?
Was genau hält dich noch zurück, dich ihm anzuvertrauen?

One person wants to please the other person, and the other just does whatever makes him happy at the moment. Which principle do you live by?
The Bible describes something completely different. In Galatians 2:20 it says: “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
Isn’t that condescension and being other-directed?
God, the Father in heaven. has the best intentions for me. In Luke 11 verse 11, Jesus explains that he won’t give us a snake when we ask him for bread. He has wonderful thoughts about each person, for he has not just created us arbitrarily. He will carry out his plan for this world at the right time. Jesus will return as King, and he will rule this world with everyone who has entrusted themselves to him!
It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.

In life, we try to satisfy a deep need. We want to belong to a family, a group, a club, or to a certain ethnic group. This gives us a sense of identity and security. God himself has put this desire inside of us. Sin has separated us from God and brought us into Satan’s domain. Jesus Christ, the promised Savior, came into the world in order to make reconciliation with God possible. Everyone who believes and trusts in him receives the right to be accepted into God’s heavenly family (John 1:12).
This trust in biblical promises gives us a certainty, a deep security, that has nothing to do with arrogance. Through his Spirit, God himself puts an inner conviction in our hearts. This new belonging is more than simply a feeling. It is a completely new identity in Christ! Followers of Jesus let themselves be led by the Holy Spirit because they are children of God and therefore they have eternal life!
Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of him.
