Neugeborene, die von der Mutter gestillt werden, sind besser vor Krankheiten geschützt, und ihr Urvertrauen wird dadurch gestärkt. Mit der Zeit lernen die Kinder aber, vom Tisch zu essen.
Dieses Ernährungsprinzip gebraucht Paulus im Brief an die Hebräer-Gemeinde, um geistliches Wachstum zu erklären. Wir sollen lernen, von der «Baby-Nahrung» auf das «chüstige» Brot vom Tisch zu wechseln. Es geht darum, den Glauben transparent und alltagsnah zu leben.
Die Bibel lehrt uns, nicht hilflos in den Sorgen des Alltags zu versinken, sondern alles bei Gott zu deponieren. Oft muss ich dieselben Gedanken mehrmals ablegen, weil ich sie nicht wirklich loslasse. So übe ich mich darin, Schritt für Schritt Wurzeln zu schlagen, die mich stärker machen.
Ziel ist es, Gott immer besser kennen zu lernen, konstruktive, praxisnahe Antworten für das Leben und den Glauben zu finden und diesen mit anderen zu teilen. Bleiben Sie nicht länger «Muttermilchtrinker».

Newborns who are nursed are more protected from disease and their foundational trust is strengthened. Over time, kids learn to eat at the table.
In his letter to the Hebrews, Paul uses this principle of nutrition to explain spiritual growth. We are to learn to wean off baby food and to go for the hearty food on the table. It’s about living faith transparently and integrated in daily life.
The Bible teaches us to not drown in the sorrow of the day but to leave those with God. Often, I have to rid myself of the same thoughts multiple times since I cannot let them go. This way I practice, step by step to grow roots that make me stronger.
Now I commit you to God’s care. I commit you to the word of his grace. It can build you up. Then you will share in what God plans to give all his people.
Acts 20:32
It’s our goal to get to know God better, to find constructive answers to life that are close to reality and to find faith which we share with others. Don’t keep nursing!

I love talking about God’s undeserved present. This new life that he wants to give us shows how immense his love is. God gave his only son who died for our sin.
You no longer have to suffer for your digressions or do good deeds to please God. Jesus did this for you. It is impossible to earn his grace.
Based on this we are called to “do good”. The new life, that is underwritten by God’s love, brings forth fruit of gratitude and generosity. That is God’s idea and purpose of life.
God made us. He created us to belong to Christ Jesus. Now we can do good things. Long ago God prepared them for us to do.
Ephesians 2:10
You are a person lovingly made by God. People around you can realize if you listen to God and do what he reminds you of as an idea or calling.

Ich liebe es, über Gottes «unverdientes Geschenk» zu sprechen. Dieses neue Leben, das er uns schenken will, zeigt, wie grenzenlos seine Liebe ist. Gott gab seinen einzigen Sohn, der für unsere Sünde starb.
Sie müssen nicht länger für Fehlverhalten büssen oder mit guten Werken Gottes Gunst erwerben. Das hat Jesus für Sie getan. Seine Gnade kann man sich unmöglich verdienen.
Auf dieser Grundlage sind wir berufen «Gutes zu tun». Das neue Leben, welches von Gottes Liebe getragen wird, lässt Früchte der Dankbarkeit und Grosszügigkeit heranreifen. Das ist die göttliche Idee und Bestimmung für unser Leben.
Sie sind eine liebevoll, von Gott geschaffene Person. Die Menschen um Sie herum können das feststellen, wenn Sie auf Gott hören und tun, was er Ihnen als Idee oder Auftrag in Erinnerung ruft.
Gott hat etwas aus uns gemacht: Wir sind sein Werk, durch Jesus Christus neu geschaffen, um Gutes zu tun.
Damit erfüllen wir nur, was Gott schon immer mit uns vorhatte.

An African story recounts how someone maked fun of a Christian and asked him: “How do you know that God exists?” He responded: “How do I know if a human, chicken or donkey went around the hut during the night? The traces in the sand will tell!”
By choosing Israel as God’s people, the creator commences the relationship. A large part of the Bible is dedicated to this people to show everyone what it means to be blessed by God.
The wonderful stories of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph and David are witness to that. In their life story and in the Psalms the light of a relationship with God shines through. God writes history with imperfect men who are willing to be led by him. Today, he still is looking for men and women that will fully trust him.
I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.
