Jesus understands his friends’ doubts and deals with them impressively. He speaks to their emotions and thoughts and shows his wounded hands and feet: “See… it’s truly me.”
In the way that Jesus talks about worries, fears and doubts shows me how approachable, sensitive and individually he deals with people. With love he attends to Thomas who is allowed to put his fingers in his wounds. What chaotic scenes do the disciples experience! Their teacher was executed like a murderer even though he was teaching love and lived it as well.
The Pharisees cover their doubt with arrogance and lofty arguments. Thomas on the other hand said what he thought. He wanted to see Jesus and the Son of God fulfilled his wish.
Jesus said to them, “Why are you troubled? Why do you have doubts in your minds? Look at my hands and my feet. It is really I! Touch me and see. A ghost does not have a body or bones. But you can see that I do.”

Jesus versteht die Zweifel seiner Freunde und geht damit eindrücklich um. Er spricht ihre Gefühle und Gedanken an und zeigt ihnen seine verwundeten Hände und Füsse: «Seht doch… Ich bin es wirklich.»
Die Selbstverständlichkeit, mit der Jesus über Sorgen, Ängste und Zweifel spricht, zeigt mir, wie nahbar, sensibel und individuell er mit Menschen umgeht. Liebevoll geht er auch auf Thomas ein, der seine Finger auf seine Wunden legen darf. Was für eine turbulente Szene erlebten die Jünger von Jesus! Ihr Lehrer wurde wie ein Mörder hingerichtet, obwohl er Liebe predigte und sie auch lebte.
Die Pharisäer überdeckten ihre Zweifel mit Arroganz und überheblichen Argumenten. Thomas hingegen sagte ehrlich, was er dachte. Er wollte Jesus sehen und das erfüllte ihm der Gottessohn.
Wie gehen Sie mit Zweifeln um? Denken Sie darüber nach, wo und wie Sie Jesus bisher erfahren haben.
«Wieso zweifelt ihr daran, daß ich es bin? Seht doch die Wunden an meinen Händen und Füssen! Ich bin es wirklich.»

People from different social status, eras, nations have witnessed, researched and proven the resurrection of Jesus. 700 years prior, the prophet Jeremiah stated details that God showed him.
The US-Journalist and Atheist Lee Stroblel displayed his search for truth in the movie “The Case for Christ”. Due to the facts he surrendered before God. Despite all evidence, everyone has to decide for himself which truth he wants to believe. Without faith, there is no relationship with God.
He is not here! He has risen, just as he said he would! Come and see the place where he was lying.
Matthew 28:6
We can ignore him or belittle him but no one can go past Jesus. He is risen. He lives. He is forever. And he will return. After our life on earth, we will be before him. The question will be: “What did you do with my offer?”

Menschen aus unterschiedlichsten Schichten, Epochen und Nationen haben die Auferstehung von Jesus miterlebt und bezeugt oder erforscht und belegt. Der Prophet Jesaja hat 700 Jahre zuvor Details genannt, die Gott ihm zeigte.
Der US-Journalist und Atheist Lee Strobel stellt im Film «Der Fall Jesus» seine Suche nach der Wahrheit dar. Aufgrund der Faktenlage kapituliert er vor Gott. Er hält fest: Trotz aller existierenden Beweise muss jeder für sich entscheiden, welcher Wahrheit er glauben will. Ohne Glauben wird keine Beziehung zu Gott möglich.
Wir können ihn ignorieren oder mit Füssen treten. Aber an der Person Jesus kommt niemand vorbei. Er ist auferstanden. Er lebt. Er bleibt für immer. Und er wird auch wiederkommen. Nach unserem irdischen Leben werden wir vor ihm stehen. Die Frage wird sein: «Was hast du aus meinem Angebot gemacht?»

La Pasqua per gli ebrei è la festa annuale più importante: ricordano la liberazione dalla schiavitù in Egitto. Anche Gesù desiderò con tutto il cuore celebrare questo ricordo con i suoi discepoli prima di soffrire. Gesù ci dà la vera liberazione dalla schiavitù del peccato! Ecco perché viene chiamato l’Agnello di Dio che prende su di sé il peccato del mondo. (Giovanni 1:29)
Nemmeno i discepoli, che avevano vissuto per circa tre anni in stretto contatto con Gesù, capirono la gravità di quel momento, cioè l’imminente sacrificio del loro Maestro. Poco prima della sua morte li ritroviamo addirittura a litigare fra di loro per capire chi sarebbe stato il più importante nel regno di Dio!
Ecco perché Gesù dimostra ancora una volta con i fatti che egli si trovava in mezzo a loro come Colui che serve: si alzò da tavola, si tolse la veste, si mise un asciugamano attorno ai fianchi, versò dell’acqua in una bacinella e cominciò a lavare i piedi ai suoi discepoli e ad asciugarglieli.
Proprio mentre stavano ancora mangiando, Gesù fu sopraffatto da una forte tristezza e disse che uno di loro lo avrebbe tradito. Dicendo questo, diede a ciascuno l’opportunità di esaminarsi. Ecco perché ognuno di loro gli chiese: «Signore, sono forse io?» Gesù rispose che colui che avrebbe inzuppato il pane nel suo piatto lo avrebbe tradito e poco dopo Giuda Iscariota fece proprio questo.
In effetti Giuda Iscariota aveva già complottato con i capi religiosi di tradire Gesù per trenta sicli d’argento, il valore di 10 mila € di oggi.
È incredibile pensare che Gesù stesse parlando di questo atto tremendo di tradimento proprio mentre quel discepolo era presente alla cena. Gesù è profondamente diverso da noi, se noi sapessimo che qualcuno ci sta per tradire daremmo libero sfogo alla nostra rabbia e ira, ma non Gesù!
Poi Gesù prese del pane e, dopo aver reso grazie, lo spezzò e lo diede loro dicendo: «Questo è il mio corpo che è dato per voi; fate questo in memoria di me». Allo stesso modo, dopo aver cenato, diede loro il calice dicendo: «Questo calice è il nuovo patto nel mio sangue, che è versato per voi.
