Surveys show that people plan their vacations more carefully than their whole life. Why is that?
When I was stuck in frustration and anger and had lost all joy in life, I decided to re-think my life. With the Bible and targeted questions, I wanted to get to the bottom of it. I worked on measurable goals. I clarified my relationship with Jesus, myself and others.
Today, I am more motivated and happier than ever before. Even if something is not working according to plan, I know that the direction is right. That puts me at ease and gives the peace of mind that I was looking for.
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

“Why should we take an example from the birds under the sky and still work six days?” This way someone wanted to show me a contradiction in the Bible. What do you think about this?
God created earth in six days and on the seventh day he rested. He told the man to name the animals and to tend to the garden. Work in healthy measures is part of the creators concept. To work until exhaustion is human greed! One day of rest while focussing on God gives new strength and is his idea. Nevertheless, many stress during their time off as well.
Birds do not build a stock. In comparison, we do hoard more than we truly need. Let’s learn from the birds which are taken care of by God.
Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Matthew 6:26
Those who work and trust God won’t be disappointed. Worrying won’t extend your life by a single day.

«Weshalb sollten wir uns ein Beispiel an den Vögeln unter dem Himmel nehmen und trotzdem sechs Tage arbeiten?» So wollte mir jemand einen Widerspruch in der Bibel aufzeigen. Was denken Sie darüber?
Gott erschuf die Welt in sechs Tagen und am Siebten ruhte er sich aus. Den Menschen hat er beauftragt, den Tieren einen Namen zu geben und den Garten zu pflegen. Arbeit in gesundem Mass gehört ins Konzept des Schöpfers. Sich «abrackern» bis zum Umfallen entspringt der menschlichen Raffgier! Einen Ruhetag mit Gott zu verbringen, gibt neue Kraft und ist seine Idee. Trotzdem stressen sich viele rastlos in ihrer Freizeit!
Sehet die Vögel unter dem Himmel an: sie säen nicht, sie ernten nicht, sie sammeln nicht in die Scheunen; und euer himmlischer Vater nährt sie doch.
Matthäus 6, 26
Die Vögel legen keine Vorräte an. Wir dagegen horten mehr als gesund ist. – Lernen wir von den Vögeln, die Gott versorgt. Wer arbeitet und Gott vertraut, wird nicht enttäuscht. Sorgen verlängern unser Leben keinen einzigen Tag.

Wenn der Januar voller Kraft das Land mit Schneeflocken und Eiskristallen schmückt, wird mit einem Schlag alles blendend weiss. Bricht das warme Sonnenlicht durchbrechen, beginnt alles prächtig zu
glitzern.
Wie spannend, wenn das Licht Eiskristalle und Schneeflocken ins rechte Licht rückt. Dasselbe passiert auch, wenn es hell wird in unserem Leben. Die altbekannten Ansichten werden in neue Dimensionen verwandelt. Wenn Jesus davon spricht, dass er das Licht der Welt ist, so scheint er bis ins Innerste unserer Seele hinein. Mit ihm kommt alles ans Licht, das entsorgt werden muss.
Jesus bezahlte mit seinem Leben für unsern Müll. Er will unser Leben ins rechte Licht rücken! Übernehmen Sie mit ihm die Hauptverantwortung, Ihr Leben neu zu strukturieren. Lassen Sie Ihn in geheime Winkel leuchten?

Snowflakes and ice crystals adorn the countryside in blinding white. The warm sunlight turns the white snow cover into a sparkling beauty.
This also happens, when our life lightens up. Old, well known views appear in new dimensions and are put into perspective. When Jesus tells us that he is the light of the world, he shines light into the depth of our souls. With him, everything comes to light, even those things that need to be disposed of.
Jesus paid with his life for our garbage. Leave all burdens with him!
